Web Page Automation

Lesson Video Time: 2:15 Minutes

The Web Page Automation goal will be achieved when a contact visits specified page(s) of your website. The contact must have previously opted in, purchased through an Infusionsoft order form or shopping cart, or clicked on an email link.

The Web Page Automation goal is great for triggering follow up when someone visits an order page or shopping cart and doesn’t check out (shopping cart abandonment), or when someone returns to the site after not being active for a while, and many other situations.

  1. Drag the Web Page Automation Goal onto the canvas
  2. Double-click the goal to configure it
  3. Be sure to embed the Infusionsoft tracking code on your website so it loads on all pages
  4. Enter the URL(s) you want to achieve the goal
  5. Connect the goal to the sequence(s) you’d like the goal to trigger
  6. Publish the campaign

Why is the Web Page Automation Goal not being triggered?

Most likely this is because either the tracking code is not on the page, or the visitors to the page haven’t been cookied by Infusionsoft. They must have previously clicked on a link in an Infusionsoft email, filled out an Infusionsoft form, or purchased through an Infusionsoft order form or shopping cart.

Something now working right? Ask a question below:

Put the Infusionsoft tracking script in your website theme so that it loads on all pages of your website automatically.  That way you don’t have to worry about it every time you set up an Web Page Automation goal.
