Set a field in the contact record with a specific value

Why Would I Use The Set Field Value Snippet?

Use the Set Field Value snippet to set the value of a field to a specific value.  This is helpful with running sequences with expiring offer links or if you want to set the value of field based on a specific segment of your contacts.

How Do I Set Up The Set Field Value Snippet?

  1. Drag the Set Field Value snippet onto the canvas in a Sequence
  2. Double-click to configure
  3. Select the field you’d like to set
  4. Check whether you’d like to overwrite the existing value
  5. Enter the new value of the field you’d like to set
  6. Save and publish campaign
