Assign An Owner

Assign a User as the Owner of the contact.

Automate communications from an assigned person such as the Sales Rep or Support Rep.

  1. Drag the Assign Owner snippet onto the canvas in a Sequence
  2. Double-click to configure
  3. Select whether to assign directly to a User or assign using a Round Robin (The Way says to use a Round Robin always)
  4. Select the User to be assigned, or the Round Robin to be used
  5. Check whether to ignore contacts who are already assigned

Use Round Robin assigns to save yourself headache in the future.  When Users are changed (employees leave, etc), you’ll need to edit every place that Users are assigned in every campaign.  That can be a pain.  And it can be really hard to find all those place.  If you set up Round Robins in CRM->Settings, all you need to do is edit the Round Robin.  You won’t need to go edit every campaign.
