Action Set (Legacy)

An Action Set is a Legacy feature that runs a series of actions all at the same time. Most of the Action Set actions can be run in the Campaign Builder, but there are a few actions that can only be accomplished with Action Sets.

Only to run actions that can only be run in Action Sets. Also, some triggers in Infusionsoft settings utilize Action Sets (Billing Automation, opt out triggers, purchase actions, etc)

  1. Go to CRM -> Settings -> Action Sets
  2. Add an Action Set
  3. Give the Action Set a name, add actions to the Action Set, and Save
  4. In the Campaign Builder, drag the Action Set (Legacy) snippet onto the canvas in a Sequence
  5. Double-click to configure
  6. Select the Action Set you’d like to run from the dropdown

Always run actions in Campaign Sequences. Only use Action Sets when necessary (create order, create referral partner, Create an Appointment, Cancel a Subscription, Share the Record with a user or group of users, Distribute record to another Infusionsoft account).
