Sends contact record information to another server outside of Infusiosnoft. Often used to communicate to 3rd party applications.

Use the Send HTTP Post snippet to communicate to 3rd party applications. For example, Memberium uses an HTTP Post to generate a password. Box Out Tools use HTTP Posts to integrate with GoToWebinar, Zoom, and WebinarJam. Fix Your Funnel uses HTTP Posts to send SMS.

How Do I Set Up The Send HTTP Post Snippet?

  1. Drag the Send HTTP Post snippet onto the canvas in a Sequence
  2. Double-click to configure
  3. Enter the HTTP Post URL.  This will typically be provided by a 3rd party tool or developer
  4. Enter the Key/Value pairs that need to be passed in the post

The Way

Whenver possible, use a goal after the HTTP post to ensure the HTTP post was successful. Create an internal notification if the post is not successful.
