Internal Form Submitted

Lesson Video Time: 4:17 Minutes

An Internal Form is a form that can be filled out and submitted by an Infusionsoft user logged into Infusionsoft. This is one of the most valuable features for automating workflow and fulfillment.  Internal forms are used for manual data entry, but they can also achieve goals and trigger automated actions.

Use Internal Forms to automate workflow and keep Infusionsoft super simple and easy to use for sales reps, support reps, and other Infusionsoft users. Internal forms also help reduce human error and Infusionsoft chaos by building processes for all scenarios and having internal employees only use Internal Forms.  Using Internal Forms creates situations where Infusionsoft users only update contact records and trigger automation manually from one place instead of using multiple methods.

  1. Drag the Internal Form Submitted goal onto the Campaign Builder canvas
  2. Double-click the goal to configure it
  3. Drag the field snippets you need into the form
  4. Connect the form to appropriate sequences you want it to trigger
  5. Publish the campaign
  6. In CRM->Settings, select which Internal Forms you want available in the Quick Search
  7. Use the Internal Forms by adding new contacts through the Quick Search or by opening the Internal Form on an existing contact record.

Use Internal Forms (and not Note Templates) to allow Infusionsoft Users to trigger actions. Group them into functional groups like: Sales, Support, Accounting, etc. Put all options on these forms so they have one place to go, not individual places or Note Templates. Users should never manually apply or remove tags or add/remove contacts from Campaign Sequences. Internal Forms allow Users to perform those functions in a controlled way.

If you are tagging people based on the info being put into a form, tagging should done in the form, not within the sequence.
